The Challenge:
Nike needed to rally Filipinos behind the Philippine National Basketball Team.
The Strategy:
When Team Pilipinas goes into the FIBA Asia Championship, it's a team that goes into war for the entire nation.
The Execution:
A website that provoked national spirit. It revealed a wartime symbol - an inverted Philippine flag made up of the team's players. It reminded users of reasons why the country is worth fighting for. And it gave a way for Filipinos to show their fighting spirit in their social networks.
The Results:
The site surpassed targets by 180%, generating 32,661 pageviews in just two weeks.
