To respond to the global economy, OgilvyOne created a booklet called Digital in a Downturn: Smart Strategies for Tough Times. This gave practical advice on dealing with marketing budgets in a time of recession. It had tips on using digital to drive sales, making advertising work harder, as well as optimizing production expenditure and creative assets.
In turn, this inspired us at OgilvyOne Manila to relaunch our website. It was a way to give clients easier access to the latest in digital and one-to-one marketing. It also let us formalize certain services to help clients turn the downturn into opportunities for their brands.
